In celebration of Heritage Park’s 50th anniversary, Gasoline Alley is displaying iconic cars from movies and TV until April. 21st. Herbie, Duke of Hazard’s General Lee and the DeLorean from Back to the Future are among those featured.
“This is actually the first cookbook that our school has embarked upon to create,” says, Tom Bornhorst, dean of SAIT’s School of Hospitality and Tourism, and lead in delegation and planning of the cookbook.
The UFC announced their Canadian dates for 2014, and yet again Calgary was passed over. How would fans respond to being snubbed once again after the UFC’s Calgary debut in 2012 fell short of expectations.
Reading Week is coming up this 2014 semester, and many students are looking forward to the break.
“When I was younger, I had this fantasy that if you could draw or paint an exact feeling, it could be spiritual…and allow [you] to travel to a metaphysical world… and travel to any time,” says Calgary painter Bana Mohensi.
