The Trojans did it by getting contributions from many different players on the team. The have also shown consistent effort throughout the first half of the season.
‘‘We’re playing well so far, and we are showing good effort as well, said Melissa Woolley, a fourth-year guard.
Despite the strong start, the team believes it can still improve.
They struggle closing out games in the fourth quarter as well letting the other teams get back into games.
‘’ We have to learn how to play a complete game and to go through the highs and lows of a game, ‘’said Woolley.
The squad has played a strong offensive and defensive game, and that has helped it go undefeated.
“Personally I love my teammates. It has been a change from high school, ‘’said Jaiden Hansen, a first-year guard.
With having first year guards like Hansen contributing has helped the team to rely less on its veteran players.
“I just want to be more confident with the ball, and to stay undefeated as a team,” said Hansen.
The team hopes to continue its success from the first half in the second half of the season, and to stay undefeated.
