With over 13 acres of corn to get lost in, the Calgary Corn Maze and Fun Farm is the perfect autumn activity.
SAIT Archivist Karly Sawatzky explains the 100 year history of SAIT’s institution. Opening in 1916, SAIT was originally in the Colonel James Walker School in Calgary, and had only 11 students. Currently located on its new campus, SAIT now has 14 main buildings on site, and approximately 50,000 current students.
“It’s a great opportunity to know the city,” says Marnie Shaw, a first timer volunteer for YYC Doors Open. Shaw points out that there are many things happening around us and we don’t even know about it.
