In keeping with the themes of progress and modernization, on Monday, Jan. 23, in a Calgary city council vote, it was decided that the Langevin Bridge would be renamed Reconciliation Bridge, in honour of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s final report and 94 calls to action.
