In The Heat of the Night

Come and get all prettied up for a romantic Valentine’s dinner in the Enmax Conservatory, Friday, Feb. 13-14, 6 p.m. to midnight each evening.  After dinner take a stroll to the conservatory for some presentations on plant and animal courtship and mating. End the night with dancing and holding that special someone.

Alberta Ballet- Fumbling towards Ecstasy

Enjoy Alberta Ballet’s Fumbling towards Ecstasy at Jubilee Auditorium, Feb. 12-14, starting at 7:30 p.m. each night. The show traces a woman’s journey from her first love to mature romantic encounters. Enjoy music by Sarah McLachlan,  including songs from her upcoming album.

Bazuka Joe and Ray Gunn

Combing the romantic traditions associated with Valentine’s Day with the sensual aspects that is burlesque dancing, The Garter Girls bring international guest star Ray Gunn and Buzuka for one night only on Feb. 14, 8:30 p.m., at the Engineered Air Theatre, Art Commons, downtown. You must be 18 or older to get in.

Valentine’s Day Comedy

If you and your honey love to laugh, FunnyFest Calgary Comedy Festival has plenty of funny to share on Feb. 14, at the Marda Loop Community Centre (3130- 16 St. S.W.) Couple’s Cooking Class
