Though winters are cold on the skin, if it weren&#8217;t for the cool nights of November, we&#8217;d have no reference to relish those sweet summer evenings. Camping is connection. It&#8217;s sleeping on the ground and feeling the earth on your skin. It&#8217;s drinking cold and clean water from a spring and and breathing air that is thick with with the smells of a forest. It is an escape and it is a retreat. It is my peace.
