Sperm Whales: Telus Spark Science Centre opens a brand new exhibit featuring whales on Saturday, January 20, 2018. On display are two sperm whales, the female (right) was showing signs of arthritis and the male was 17.8-meters long and weighed in at 60-70 tons while still alive. Whales/Tohora showcases “the worlds largest toothed animal” and the bones have been shipped from New Zealand to visit 16 different cities in North America over a 10-year time span.
