Covering the Cover: Volunteers prepare manhole covers for making imprints during the City of Calgary’s manhole cover celebration at Prince’s Island Park in Calgary on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018. Attendees were provided with blank shirts and tote bags which could be pressed against the new covers. The three new designs represent Calgary’s stormwater, wastewater and drinking water systems.
