Walking for freedom: On Saturday, October 20th, 2018, hundreds of Calgarians gathered at Olympic Plaza, in Calgary, to advocate against human trafficking in the event known as Walk for Freedom. Speakers including Kyle Payne, A21’s Calgary representative, delivered shocking statistics to the crowd, including the fact that only 1% of people who have been sold into human trafficking are ever rescued, which was displayed on many of the signs that were held during the walk.
